Power-Flo Bulk Bag Conditioning System
Introduced in August 2006, the Power-Flo Bulk Bag Conditioning System is designed to automatically break up non-free flowing material that has hardened or developed lumps inside the bulk bags during transit and/or storage. System addresses concerns related to the commonly practiced "forklift conditioning method" such as bag breakage, plant structural damage, forklift damage, or injury to plant personnel. System includes a heavy duty tubular framework and two custom engineered "compression" plates mounted on opposing sides that are hydraulically actuated. The operator loads a bulk bag into the conditioning unit via forklift then pulls a switch rope to initiate the automatic conditioning sequence. The integral hydraulic lift table and powered rotary turntable automatically raise, lower, and rotate the bulk bag to condition the entire length of the bulk bag for maximum results. The operator interface allows easy access to bag conditioning parameters, recipes, input and output status, and manual mode controls. System can return most materials in bulk bags to a dischargeable state within a matter of minutes. Flattened expanded metal safety guarding on three sides, and through beam sensors on the load side protect employees and the equipment.
